Well...the same thing has happened here in the U.S. The Asian salons have taken over due to their cheap labor which translates into the final price you pay for a manicure/pedicure. I have a guy...

Thanks. I just told my wife that gel nails are popular in Oz....she does not like doing gel nails due to the amount of time it takes.

My wife is a nail tech - she is planning to open a nail shop soon after we move to Oz. We hear that the nail business is very different is Oz.....does anyone know the difference?

We're also planning to go to Oz without employment prior to our departure.... on the other hand our plan is to find work but eventually open our own business.

You should apply for a visa anyway - I don't think you will be banned from entering OZ....I believe they are looking for honesty and being up-front in the beginning.

I read about the 7k grant for first time home buyers. That is awesome. In American you're pretty much on your own when you purchase your first home.

Nah, we not even close to Amish - Just high school sweet hearts who love kids and the simple things in life.

Although we're still young (37 & 35) - we've been to the top of the corporate ladder...
