I have presc. drugs for a couple of chronic conditions. When I went through customs at Sidney and Brisbane and Cairns, nobody made any attempts to ask me about them. Don't worry about it.

If you had amex in the uk, you can open an amex account in oz and they will use your credit rating from the uk and give you a credit card. I hope this helps.
