Default prescribed drugs.

is it ok to take prescription drugs with us. will we need to declare them? my daughter has tablets for a skin condition, and has 6 months supply off the doctor. we are a bit worried going through customs, incase our case is opened and they get the wrong idea. :scared: :scared: being held for drug dealing in singapore does not appeal to us.

I had antibiotics for a similar thing the first time I went out to Oz, declared them at Customs and had them in the hand luggage so they could see them, but they just asked what the pills were for and let me through. I did also get a letter from my GP stating what the pills were, and what condition they were for, just in case of any query - that way Customs anywhere can see they are legal.

I have presc. drugs for a couple of chronic conditions. When I went through customs at Sidney and Brisbane and Cairns, nobody made any attempts to ask me about them. Don't worry about it.

Singapore can be very iffy, so its best to get a doctors note to say what the drugs are and what for etc.

The docs should do you a letter for free.

I am diabetis so always have a load of syringes etc. never had a problem but I carry a diabetic card just in case.

Also my ex. had narcolepsey and had prescribed amphetamine, and we were advised not to go via Singapore, especially as she had about a years supply.

Together we must have looked like a walking drug factory. :scared:

But seriously though a letter from your doctor saves any hassle.
