I have paid tax but not on the first £30k, the rest has been taxed at 40% but it has given a years money as net which I would normally draw as gross

Have you looked into negative gearing your rental, you can now do this with UK properties. Basically you can claim back losses as tax returns.

I am not an expert but try looking it up.

I graduated at the University of Nottingham in the UK.

I have heard about getting job offers on a regular basis as I have heard they try and poach workers from each other.

Just been reading on the official website, if you are leaving for less than 52 weeks you can continue to claim, if you leave intending to return within 52 weeks but fail to do so will you have to pay...

we emigrate in Jan from uk to oz, just realised the children's passports only has two years left, will this cause any problems later, is it easy to renew a UK passport from Australia.

It is not good, I keep trying to imagine how I would feel from their point of view and its not good, it is true that you have to do what is best for you family, but its hard to justify it sometimes....
