***BE AWARE*** - I just got my renewal from these guys and they specifically said they could not cover me anymore due to being outside of the UK.

Yes...I nearly got carried away! Having checked, I was astounded to see how much my Interest was as a percentage of the payment we make each month. I guess I didn't really pay that much attention...

Thanks for the pointers on depreciation. We did the NRL1 forms when we left the UK.

We aren't covering the mortgage at the moment with the rental, so I am hoping we won't have too...

We moved over in Sept 2009 and have filed 1 UK Tax return and 1 USA tax return, with another US return due soon.

We still own our house in the UK and on the recent UK return I declared...

We submitted and EAD application for my wife who is in L2 status.

Today we received an I-797 notice of action. Does anyone know how long it takes for the I-766 to follow? Or does it vary...

Join a company with a US arm, work for them and see if you can get an L1 to transfer across. Hard but not impossible, and you need to focus on someone that wants what you have here, over there....

Decided to heed the advice on here and cancel the appointment, only for the I-797 to be delivered this morning! Doh!

Anyway booked in now for Wednesday 0800.
