Iv done the picture bit as well (how much of a plonker did I feel:o)

300$ for skills assessment from TRA, funnily enough its exactly 300$ for ARTC assessment from TRA.

Just thinking out loud...

I was a very long time submitting my report and as time went on I kept on adding new things I thought would be of relevance, what I ended up with was a 51 page 13000...

Up North is pretty stunning...

Small parts of the UK are stunning (north Cornish coast for instance), small parts are pretty (the Cotswolds), but the vast majority of it - what little bit of it...

Got a reply today from the Engineering council, my HNC may be ok but it depends on the profile of the units, then a link to the £57.50 application form.

So If my thinking is right the sequence to get the golden ticket is:-

1. Apply to TRA from UK. (24 pages so far, need to get finger out!)
2. Apply for ARTC from UK....

Not sure about this one, I think it means you should test your meter/tester with a proving unit before and after testing whatever it is your testing....... too much testing methinks:D

Sponsorship it definitely something I would consider, the plan in my head is to get made redundant within the next 6 months head to the Gold coast or thereabouts for 3 years with the redundancy...

Dont tick the majority of boxes for the linesman either, lots of writing switching schedules, carrying out the switching and isolation:o for maintenance.
