We are hoping that Goa will be, sort of, home from home in the sun :)

Our worry really is getting involved with dodgy builders/agents, projects without planning permission and the like.

This is worrying. This kind of thing can affect everyone, irrespective of nationality issues. What exactly are the problem arising with the locals? Planning permission?

Reading the threads here, we thought the problems are also caused by the builders. Like going bust or disappearing.
