We went to Vegas, i had had my PR card arrive but OH hadn't and no problem coming back into Canada just told them waiting for it to arrive and all ok. oy

We live just outside Edmonton, and all our paperwork went to Buffalo for PR and if anything like us we heard about 19 and half weeks into the 20 weeks timeline! Good luck

Congratulations, My husbands finally arrived on Friday 2 months after mine. And of course we flew to Vegas for long weekend, so he had to go without his PR card but all was fine at passport control...

i ended up doing ours myself as our immigration company went bust. As long as you read the forms through and make sure all completed correctly and double check to make sure you will be fine.

Congratulations, you won't need new Alberta health card, just need to let them know you have become pernanent residents as otherwise once date of original work permit runs out the health card will...

Yes you go through american side, they take passports and fill some paperwork in, then you take it round to the canadian side, where they decided to take new photos!! and then they cross through visa...

Congratulations!! Make sure your photos are ok when go to border, when we got to border they said my photo wasn't ok so took one, and said to husband might as well do new one for me and quess what...
