Default PR received - need to flagpole etc. . .

Soo today we got the passports back with the nice shiny visas = obv need to pop off to states for a little flagpole - BUT the question being. . . .they say it is taking up to 5 weeks to get PR card s after we flagpole . .

We would like to go to Hawaii in late Aug - - do we have to have the plastic pr card or can we get back into Canada just with the paperwork etc. . . .

WE COULD leave flagpoling til we go to Hawaii , bur dear daughter is desperate to get her SIN number and get a job for the summer-= ho hum . . .

anyone been in similar positions- advice please -

We flagpoled on 20th April still waiting for PR cards. One other thing to remember is, the nice people at Canada post are only working three days a week as from Monday.

Congrats T4BL.

Ours are here too.

This FlagPoling.... is it true it should only be done in "office hours" or can it be done at the weekend? Anyone know?
