Post-victory press conf:
Among the questions US journos asked Murray were "What were you doing 74 years ago?" and "What part have your dogs played in your achievement?"

I don't get all the Murray hate either. He's always polite, pleasant and cracks smiles when he needs to. One time when we filmed him the flirtatious presenter had him in stitches. He was blushing and giggling like a ten year old. The only thing that he won't talk about is Dunblane and he does get pissed off with journalists who ask about it when they are briefed not to. Fair enough.
He celebrates a big win by going for a meal with his family and having a glass of champagne. Not by spit roasting a starstruck model in a hotel room. Way, way, way WAY better role model than Rooney or Cole et al.

Re: Wimbledon
The things that makes me laugh about Murray is the constant need for people to come out defending him.... "off camera he's really funny", "he's always laughing", "he's not stopped making jokes since 1994"...etc etc etc.
If he was that fun it would shine through in all walks.
If he wasn't permanently miserable, there would be no need to constantly justify how fun and happy and great he is.
I don't dislike him at all, I would be pleased for him if he wins, but by god is the man ****ing dull.
