Ever wondered who the guy in cowboy hat is that sits in the player's box? If you watch Wimbledon at all you must have seen him...
Well here you go... and he lives in Abu Dhabi... Mr David Spearing, lived there for 40 years and has a construction company? Anyone know him?

Re: Wimbledon
(PS shouldn't matter, but I too am a shy Scottish lad, just crap at tennis)
You're looking for the wrong things, then. He's a well-brought-up Scottish lad - very typical to those who are familiar with them. He's modest, a bit shy, very funny off court and much loved by his peers. But he's also a fabulous player - a tennis genius, in fact, and we're incredibly lucky to have him. If you've missed some of his many qualities it's your loss. Try harder.
and why after all this time anyone should furking care about if he's a cock off court or not (on balance it seems not) is furking pathetic... (ahem - sorry).

I would like to gaze longingly at you while holding my hard shaft, like a proud Masai warrior spear in hand observing a lion across the waters of an oasis, in the Serengeti.
love and regards

Bit like most footie players in that regard.

Re: Wimbledon
What is it he does that makes him such a cock off court that makes him a poor role model for kids? I can't recall reading too many reports of him getting pissed up with his mates or spunking his cash on coke or in whorehouses.

Re: Wimbledon
Anyway - it's about what happens on the court that counts...

Re: Wimbledon
But on the court, he's a solid 4th and does have a really nice grass game to watch with a much better serve/volley game than compared to a couple years ago.
Also still want to see him win and hope he doesn't choke this third set away that he appears to be doing.

Fair play to Murray, I thought his arse was twitching at 4-4 but he hung on in there and won it with a great return!

2 Brits in Wimbledon finals after over half a century (for men's doubles) and 74 years for men's singles - amazing day... well done Murray and Marray & Nielsen....
