Anyhow approaching this from the other side, that is not being the married one. Over the last decade at least 75% of the women I have had relationships with have been married, and it's certainly not cultural as it's been a mixture of all religions, races and locations. Being in my 40s it's definitely age related in my opinion, their relationships have reached their natural lifespan.

My friend has 2 phones one for work and one for pleasure - unfortunately he left his pleasure phone at home with his wife and she saw the pop up whatsapp messages. He was saying it sort of saves him telling the wife he wants to divorce. Somehow i think he will change his mind when he finds out how expensive a hobby it is !

In the eyes of most women they're all the same. You're cheating, one way or another.

Never been married so this question doesn't apply to me. But at the same time I won't get involved with marrieds.

In for a penny, in for a pound then. My guess is that the number is well up in the 50+% if truth be known.

As DXB says, I'd class all of those as cheating at some level or another. Drunken grope / snog, nah.... that's just dog house material.

I've never been married so the poll doesn't apply to me. With regards to my being involved with someone who is married..... as far as I can recall / know about it has only happened once (well with one person and then only on two occasions). Back when I worked in Scotland we used to go away as a department (from 2 offices) once a year after Christmas for a team building piss up. There was this lady in the other office who used to pretty much jump me each year. Seems like I was her annual Christmas present to herself.

Saying that I have loads of married mates and I've been away on a lot of stag do's.... and having some 'fun' while away doesn't seem to be a big thing.

As to the comments by other posters, even though the OP stated "ex-marital", surely the question applies equally to those who are in long-term relationships even though not actually married.

I wasn't saying I was having to lie, it was the married women doing the lying.

I'm sort of with millhouse on this, my experience has been that it seems like the percentage is very high. Certainly 50% or above for men.
