Whenever I mention the temperature in Dubai on FB, your mother starts telling me to watch out for skin cancer. I take it she realises it's the sun and not the heat than can cause it?

I haven't managed to find any bunting- had a busy week at work so sadly havent managed it! very upset as my party hosting is legendary back in blighty! But I have the food and drink in so I don't think anyone will mind too much. Just a small gathering at mine, and funnily enough Im the only english one there. Can't wait- love a bit of pomp and ceremony and a good wedding- kleenex at the ready!

I don't see the point or appeal of the royal family, don't understand the undue attention heaped on this wedding. It just doesn't seem relevant at this point in history.
