May I give you my opinion even if I am new here?
Betrayal is a matter of perception. She perceives she has been betrayed and, from your description, he behaves like he had something to be forgiven for. This is not a good start, personally I believe that the promise to "tell the truth, all the truth, nothing but the truth" is for adolescents. Grown-ups should know that trust is more important than truth. |
