Week in the Channel Islands, 2 weeks in Bristol. Don't really care two hoots what the weather is like (though some snow would be nice

... The grass is really greeeeeeeen (and so are the trees) and the springtime is a riot of colour and the hedgerows change with the season (and the blackberries are delicious AND they haven't been sprayed!)

...you are pressed up against someone so tightly on public transport that you know what change they have in their pocket, but you still do not make eye contact....
