Yetminster:
I mentioned when we last saw Yetminster that it was worth putting on the list. Here is a new listing which unfortunately has a ground floor bathroom (which I suppose is good for some) but looks attractively priced and ticks a lot of boxes.
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-...-30609112.html
Interestingly streetview shows this house with the agent's sign outside suggesting the street update is very recent.
You will recall that Yetminster is one of the finest stone-built villages in the south. Unfortunately the old stone property listed before is no longer listed.

I like this house. It is on the edge of Yetminster so has a rural feel, inviting interior and great garden.

I thought that percentage would be much higher.Adding:
just did a bit of research and came up with this:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...-above-1m.html
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale.html
Even though Rightmove says it has over 800,000 properties for sale on it's home page, the link paragraph in Google says it has over 1 million properties for sale so the home page blurb may not be being updated.
All in all it looks quite close to having most properties for sale.

It would be old home ground for me. Took my ballet exam in Northampton.

Sorry for all the posts... just catching up
.
This is a great website with some fascinating links and ways to combat those huge industrialised farms seen in the video link posted by Pistolpete2 in the UK/Europe situation thread. I am posting it here because if you click on "Visit an organic farm... " in the picture it gives a list of organic farms by area of the UK.

I have noticed that if you track over to the water (English Channel in this case but it works for all locations) in map view, you will see the Google map date in this form '©2011 Google'.
I like this house. It is on the edge of Yetminster so has a rural feel, inviting interior and great garden.

And I can "handle" that garden too!
Not sure about the Northampton bit though.
I'm past pirouetting!From wiki:
"There is a contrast of housing within the Billing ward with leafy large grand houses dotted around Great Billing and Little Billing keeping the traditional 'village feel' as when both were villages. On the other side there is Bellinge and Ecton Brook; estates built in the 1970s and 80s to house the overspill of London which are council estates. Bellinge in particular had suffered from serious problems in the 1990s and became one of the most crime ridden estates in England suffering from drug dealing and vandalism until local Council demolished a series of flats which stand on now Billingmead Square. The estate now is much improved and does not suffer the serious problems it had once encountered."

Today's LET'S MOVE TO:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2011...northumberland
I had already read that there will be significant impact from public sector cuts in Morpeth. This could provide some opportunity. Sorry to see positives in others' negatives but then everybody else is guilty of that on here.
Look out for Salisbury which must be coming soon.

Cheers, Check this out in Little Billing. I'm working out how to split it in two (or even three) based upon the floor plan. The master ensuite is the same size as the master.

I could see doing a 6-month support worker role at this organic farm near Hay on Wye. £50/week + food and accomodation. Basically all the bills are paid so the £200/mo + my pension would all be disposable income. Sounds like an interesting place (I trained in Permaculture too) and I like the area:
