To clarify, we'll be taking public transport (tube and train) to Hampton
Court in the morning, taxi/bus to pick up our car from Heathrow (Hertz now,
free is better than even easyCar's rates) and heading out overnight to enjoy
Stonehenge up-close and personal before the masses arrive.

I thank you very much for that, but the plans changed slightly a few days
back when my partner discovered some free rental coupons from Hertz which
will be honored at Heathrow.

Yes, you're correct about those ones, I've only ever found them as pdf
maps on the site Joan mentioned.

Yes, Fustanella does seem to be possibly the most clued up tourist
ever to visit these shores, I think! :¬)

Which is why I already apologised for over-reacting to your initial
post a few hours ago. What are you seeking, here?

I ask because I have before me a small brochure-sized London
Connections map I picked up in 1996. It is patently becoming out of
date.

In the OED (first edition), that'd be Zxyt -- an obsolete Kentish word
for "sight".
[OK, OK: I agree -- too obscure. Let's go for "Zyrian", a variant
spelling for "Syrian".]

Yes. I suppose it doesn't have the Jubilee extension, the East London
line extension or the tram systems in there?
