Sofa cushions? Euphemism of the week? :-)
We take a piece of bright orange very thin light nylon that was sold as a
windbreak 30 years ago.

I would be surprised to see such a sign in our hotel room. We're staying
in the old monastery in Alghero, and it's about a mile from the good
beaches. I _think_ Oscar can actually fit both each towels in his
carryon, so it should all be fine...

If the hotel has a swimming pool you might see signs saying the towels aren;t to
be taken out of the room.

I just don't stay in those kinds of hotels though. Usually very small,
cheapish, non-chain places. I have a faint recollection of seeing such a
sign once, but it was a long time ago. Maybe South Beach, Miami?

There was such a sign in our cheap **** Turkish hotel. :-)
The Turkey has given the German TUV a contract to setup and do MOT tests in
Turkey, an interesting idea :-)

If they can get the populace to take the tests (I presume from
my reading that an MOT test is a car safety check) , they are
ready to join Europe and the garages will have lots of business
