how about taking some paper towels from a public toilet and spreading
it on the beach? Its an idea. I can see you lot haven't read the
Hitchhikers guide to the universe :-)

I can't fit my big red beach towel with a picture of a bull into the
bag!

You could have a bull's eye tattooed on your back and get an overdose of sun to
achieve the same effect.

If someone on the beach doesn't have parasols for hire, I'll be sitting
there with a shirt on anyway!

Buy one and dump it at the end of your holiday.

Don't you take a face mask and fins with you?

Cheaper to rent surely, but not a bad idea...

Depends how long you are going for and how much rent is compared to buying
and whether there is anybody buying. I just realised that Alfred Molon could
have retrieved my dinghy trailer that we left behind in Gialova because we
intended to return the following year, but didn;t.

I think I'll stretch to buying a towel, but that's it!

Actually, I have a piece of cloth I've used for the purpose. It's the
kind of thing hippies used to cover their sofa cushions with.

I don't think there's any problem as long as you bring the towel back
after your swim.

A 'dhoti towel', made of the same cloth Ghandi wore, is used in India in
the monsoon as it dries very quickly.

They're cheap, effective and cost very little, and are usually made from
naturally made, hand spun and woven materials so they're ecologically sound
as well.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.

Signs saying they aren't to be used outside the room are common.
