car hire - paris to venice

It's not worth it for 4 days - minimum for an Aussie is now
21 days for around AU$2000 for a Clio or equivalent on all
three systems (prices have risen since I last used it in
2006). The longer you drive it the cheaper it works out at
per day - double that period raises it $500.

But for 4 days it definitely isn't worth it. And that's a
helluva trip in four days in a car.
