Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the European Border and Coast Guard and repealing Council Joint Action n°98/700/JHA, Regulation (EU) n° 1052/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Regulation (EU) n° 2016/1624 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

- The costs inception training of the agents (143.000 € per Temporary Agents — 74.000 € per Contract Agents)
- The costs on the annual refreshment training (10.000 €)
- Daily deployment costs (200 €)
- The reduction of these costs by 40% in the case of long-term deployments (which I have been able to deduce from the Frontex regulation, occur when they are more than 4 months old. Can anyone corroborate this?)

Hello everyone and thanks for the welcome!
Another easteuropean candidate here. I applied for the intermediate position and was able to pass the English test. Following the latest developments I am now waiting (and hoping) for on line interview.
Needless to say there are lot of unclear points in this Border guards project, but so far I am curious about the possibilities for taking leave days. It is stated that you can take leave days during the stay in Warsaw, but what about the time when you will be deployed abroad? Will you be able to have leave days as well?
I wonder if someone was able to find more information covering this topic, because as a father of two small boys for me is quite important to know in advance for what periods I will be absent from home.

My bet is still going... European Personnel Selection Office(EPSO) announced that has put a hold on all its Assessment Centre activities until September 2020 due to COVID-19 situation. Guess what Frontex will do...
Frontex will continue the selection procedure for Standing Corps not earlier than 2021.

Things are getting back, as close as possible, to normal.
FX is adapting and has already resumed interviews.
By 15th of May the final stage of selection will b initiated.
Covid19 just slowed down cross-border-crime business.
It can come back stronger than ever!
The biggest mistake will be to postpone selection.
And decrease operational capabilities.
Unless sever financial constraints make this decision.
