Re: Frontex Border Guard
Congrats on getting called. That's pretty short notice isn't it? How are you finding getting flights and all booked?

Good stuff, for some reason I just got my english results today so maybe I'll get the email this week or next week? Getting leave in work might be an issue with me too...

Sit ups in one minute - assessment of candidate's muscle torso strength. The exercise description is provided below:- Once the "ready" command is announced, the candidate assumes a lying position onhis/her back with the knees bent (maximum at a 90-degree angle) and feet spread athips-width hooked on the lower rung of the gymnastic ladder (first or second step),fingers folded and held at the back of the head, arms on the mattress.- Once the "train" command is announced, the candidate bends his/her torso forward totouch his/her knees with the elbows and immediately returns to the starting position toallow the joined fingers on the head to contact the ground (first repetition).- During the exercise hips cannot be lifted off the ground.- The instructor counts the number of correctly performed repetitions out loud.- If the candidate does not perform the exercise as instructed e.g. does not touch the knees with his/her elbows, oro while going back to the starting position to repeat the repetition does not touch themattress with both shoulders and hands, the instructor continues counting by repeating the number of the last correct repetition.
βWhere did you find this information?
Do you also have information on the rules for carrying out push ups
and if the series must always be carried out in a minute? (... in the applicaton for AST4, about push ups the reference time is not indicated!)
If you or someone else has information about it and can clarify these doubts
I think that we all would be grateful.
Thanks in advance

Hello everyone,
A lot of questions about the physical tests still left with no answer! It's like applying for NASA!
I also have a question for the girls in this forum. How good are your push-ups? And for everyone else: How scared should I be about the speaking test?
Hoping that the guys posting now, will be back here after their tests, I wish you all the best of luck.

Just take your time and respond as simple as possible and to the required lengtht. Even if you speak more than required it won't be a problem.
Take some tests prior to the official one.
Good luck!

Thank you for your answer! I am not afraid I will speak more than required. I am afraid my thoughts will go away when having to deal with the question.
