The sit ups are extremely difficult , the fingers crossed at the head is changing the level of the exercise. It has a huge different compared with the common sit ups.

Sit ups in one minute - assessment of candidate's muscle torso strength.The exercise description is provided below:- Once the "ready" command is announced, the candidate assumes a lying position onhis/her back with the knees bent (maximum at a 90-degree angle) and feet spread athips-width hooked on the lower rung of the gymnastic ladder (first or second step),fingers folded and held at the back of the head, arms on the mattress.- Once the "train" command is announced, the candidate bends his/her torso forward totouch his/her knees with the elbows and immediately returns to the starting position toallow the joined fingers on the head to contact the ground (first repetition).- During the exercise hips cannot be lifted off the ground.- The instructor counts the number of correctly performed repetitions out loud.- If the candidate does not perform the exercise as instructed e.g.
does not touch the knees with his/her elbows, oro while going back to the starting position to repeat the repetition does not touch themattress with both shoulders and hands,the instructor continues counting by repeating the number of the last correct repetition.
