Snapper baked in the oven with salt and lemon juice. Served with cheese and leek mash, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli, parsley sauce. We had wine with our meal.

Now we've got coffee and eclairs. My husband is having brandy with his coffee, I don't drink brandy. Well we did spend 7 hours stripping wallpaper from our spare room.

Pork spare ribs in a sticky sauce from a recipe book - anyone remember the, 'Two Fat Ladies' t.v. cookery show ?

I must have got the last strip of plain pork spare ribs in Wanganui ! I got some, 'pork fingers' i.e. belly pork slices. I've removed the fat from them and they are currently marinating with the spare ribs in sauce ready to be baked and eaten tonight after we have finished the wallpaper stripping.

I'll serve the ribs with rice and a side salad.

We've got lemon meringue pie for pudding or it could be Vienetta. I've got it in mind to make bananas in chocolate custard as the bananas are over ripe. Well, by my taste anyway !

Not sure at this point.
May do a stir fry or maybe a pasta bake. Salmon that is.

Pasta bake may be better as Mr BEVS will be late in.

Chicken stir fry with noodles tonight.

Hoping I do better than last night when I managed to cook him off fish. I only realised when he spat it out onto his plate. It was not out of date and had been in the fridge the whole time my fish tasted fine but was cooked in the same pan so I thought it best not to eat it.
We had takeaways instead
