It's not easy to make change. If it was really simple then we'd all be skinny as it makes sense.

Sure it takes long term commitment however the odds are really stacked against some people.
I don't think it helps anyone to stand in judgement. I know a whole heap of people with a whole heap of unhealthy habits. If I stood in judgement I wouldn't have any friends.

I DON'T enjoy eating. Thats for sure. as I don't feel (any) food is so tasty.

I would have no (never) clue ppl enjoy eating and getting fat.

so I've been losing more weight latley.

If you don't eat (like me), you will lose weight. Easy.

I am your exact opposite
I love food. All food. I love it in large quantities.
I don't enjoy getting fat however it seems to be a consequence of my enjoyment of food in large quantities.
If I ate like you, then i'd probably have to substitute with large amounts or narcotics

I just stop when i feel full and no deserts that seems to work

by no means am i super skinny a happy size 10 to 12 but thats probably as i like my wine

Not everyone who is fat eats lots of food. Many overweight people have thyroid problems, nutritional deficiencies and reactions to medications. Sadly they know when they walk out the house people look down on them for being greedy and lazy, when they are trying very hard to lose weight. My cousin, who is on major medication is very overweight despite reducing her food intake and high levels of exercise. And yet people scratch their heads and wonder how come such an intelligent young woman doesn't know how to eat less food.

If you haven't been through this you really don't understand how it feels to be judged even though you are doing everything everybody says (including the doctor) and it's still not working.

Of course if you don't eat you don't put on weight. That's probably why there was an article in the paper at the weekend about the huge rise in anorexia. Controlling the intake of food is what consumes an anorexic.
Instead of looking at what others eat, maybe you should be worried about the fact you 'DON'T enjoy eating.
Just by telling an overeater not to eat does not work and yes you mention 'if you don't have control over your body, you don't have control over your mind'
An addict does not have control over their mind, the definition of an alcoholic 'is someone that would stop if they could'.
Addiction occurs in many different forms and I am not saying that every fat person is a food addict. People gain weight for loads of reason's. My son is diabectic and while he is by no means fat he is bigger than I think he would be if he was not diabetic. He does huge amounts of excercise to keep his weight how he wants it (some people are unable to skip 40mins a day) and he is still very conscious about his body.
So before judging have some compassion for that person as being fat or being an addict is not a conscious choice.
