Hello folks, how about arranging a drink somewhere central this weekend? We've been here 7 weeks now, and it would certainly be nice to meet some new people. Failing that, I'm not working yet, so would be up for a coffee/cup of tea during the week if anyone fancied it!

My kiwi hubby and I moved from London to Auckland late last year (via 2 years in Sydney!). We've been socialising with his old friends but I'd be keen to meet up with some other Brits too.
Would love to know if there are any other meet ups planned (looks like I just missed yesterdays!) or girls nights out. I've been feeling a bit out of sorts after a few visits from UK friends, but think some wine and a good natter would sort that out

A few of us will be meeting up on Thursday night in Parnell. The plan at the moment is drink / something eat then pudding at the Chocolate boutique! I am still getting to know the area. Meeting around 7.30. Let me know if anyone wants to join us :-)

I'll try to make it on Thursday if I can. Will depend on working out how to get back to the shore afterwards on public transport! Becomes a bit of a pain after rush hour

Lets meet at the MC Cartys Irish bar on Parnell rise at 7.30 this Thursday after a drink and a light bite to eat (not sure what the food is like) we can then move on to the Chocolate boutique for pudding :-). I have checked and it is open till 9.50pm.
