the use of pins is common all over the world but chip and pin is new technology it's unfortunate I have to agree with NB embedded chips are only just comming to the fore. the magnetic strip on the back is not a chip !

*Offer is available for new customers and to existing customers who have TV and Telco services and are new to ntl broadband only. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer. After 3 months price reverts to £17.99 per month for 1Mb, £24.99 per month for 4Mb and £34.99 per month for 10Mb. Offer is only available when you take a phone line.
**See terms for details of 30 day money back guarantee.
***Offer ends midnight 31th July 2006. Only available when you order online at www.ntl.com. 12 month minimum term contract applies. Offer not available to existing ntl broadband customers. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other ntl offers.
So for 90 bucks per month you get unlimited downloads but half the speed @ 10 megs (plus whatever the phone line costs) I've yet to meet someone that uses more than 60 gigs in a month which equates to 70 bucks, with IInet including voip plus 34 bucks for the phone line and extra phone here. I'd say that was in the same ball park, except IInet are faster.
The only reason I'm carrying on like this, is everytime someone says something is cheaper in the UK on electrics I find it cheaper here...
Like trying to buy my daughter in the UK a 30gig Ipod cheaper than JBhi Fi's 380 buck xmas special.

That's what I'm doing, I'm sending my son cash through Paypal and he's going to buy something from e-bay with it. That way he won't get charged for withdrawing the cash.

Oz gets everything Last. Movies that were on 6 months ago in the UK are only just about coming out now![/QUOTE]
That's actually not true. My Mum in Perth has told me to go and see a few movies that she had already seen and I had to wait a few weeks/months to see them in London. For example, In her Shoes, with Cameron Diaz.
I honestly don't care what people think of Oz, I just don't like disinformation being spread!
