I think hes thinking because im living in america now and i already have H4 visa that there is some sort of waiver!! I think rather than this being a concern of me being stuck in the house everyday i think its more financial. I thought maybe at first he was considering how bored and frustrated i am until last night! We are coming to the end of our lease so we have been looking at other properties. The house my husband has his eye on is about $500 more than what we are paying now without bills. He then shouted at me because i tried to explain how we couldnt afford it for him then to say ' Well you go get a job' This is when i found out hes been talking to somebody who said i could work!
This whole experience is turning into one big nightmare!!!!

The fact is you are not allowed to work on your current visa.
It really is no help when people give out false information, it leads to arguments that there was no need to have in the first place!

Hi all
I need some advice. I moved to florida with my husband at the end of october 2010. He works here i dont as i am only on a h4 visa. My problem is im very home sick i miss tv and the food here is disgusting. The first month was fine but now we have been here nearly three months i really dnt want to live here i want to return back to the uk. Is this long enough for me to realise this isnt for me??? I would like to hear from other people who are or have been in a similar situation as me. I have three children who also feel the same as me its only my husband that like it!! Help!!!!1

Hi Weymouth,
I'm from Weymouth too, left 20 years ago...
. I know why you would miss it.
