I'm sorry to read this Flea, you are the second person I know who's been broken into (the others were done over again just after they'd had all their stuff replaced, and then had it all nicked again). All I can say is that you have obviously outstayed your welcome and will just have to go home

I hope you feel better soon. Can you buy Calms here? They worked wonders for me at my Mums funeral, or was it the very large vodka and orange I was given before I left the house?
Loads of hugs...how many days till your escape? Sorry, I mean till you leave
Jo

Just saw this.
I'm so sorry. I know exactly how you must be feeling. Over the years we've been broken into 5 times, 3 times while we were at home. It's a hard thing to come to terms with. I was terrified in my own house for ages. Then I got angry at the thought of someone thinking that they could come into my home and steal the stuff that we'd worked our @sses off to buy.
I really feel for you. It's a pain in the @rse cancelling cards, changing locks, etc.
I can understand why your daughter is angry with OH. My OH would have run after them too, and I was always glad that we slept through because you never know what these people will do if you get hold of them.
Re Kizbut1's post, the jeweller who replaced my jewellery last time told us to watch out for a repeat burglary. A friend of his had been burgled three times in a row, (in UK), apparently the police think that some of the burglars are smart enough to know that you will have replaced stuff and come back for the new stuff.

My husband can really handle himself. Hew orks in forensic psychiatry inside a jail, so well trained in control and restraint etc, but even so if somoene is wild on drugs and has a weapon you just nevr know, but i guess his instincts took over.
I am so so frightened of them coming back. I just have a feeling they will as he didnt get to take my husbands laptop, the PDA, digi camera and games console which were all on full display in the room. We think he was about to take OH laptop as it was unplugged.
The police said there must have been two of them one waiting outside and the one inside passing stuff down because he would not have been able to run off as fast as he did carrying all the stuff he took
BTW... thanks to all of you who have sent me karma mesages it is much appreciated xx

Yes JG thank god i am getting out of here.
I seem to be more jittery tonight than i was last night. Twice i have tried to go to bed but jumped up hearing noises.
I need to get over myself.
It is very disconcerting as i am normally a very strong person, but this is turning me into a nervous wreck.

Really sorry to hear about this, FFFF.
This guy must have nerves of steel. I'd get some barbed wire put around the balcony :curse: and a bit of vandal paint. There is no doubt he will attempt to get into the other properties as he will know that you and your neighbour will have added security.
I hope they catch the baaastood soon.
You'd think the cops would watch the area

I was only reading today about how the break ins had sky rocketed last month in the Hills District. They reckon it the low life from Mt Druitt doing it all.
Hang on in there Flea - not long now till you're home. Maybe this was the extra little nudge you needed to know what you're doing is the right choice. Karma coming your way.

I hope it made you feel good typing that.
Kicking someone who is down says a lot about you.

I can't even imagine how scary that is. I am really sorry that happened to you.
Hopefully karma will get the guy sometime soon...either karma or a really big dog

Wow... I feel very sorry for you to have such a bad nasty attitude. It must have such a negative impact on your life.
