My hubs has beeen upset & moody for the past 2 days!
He didnt expect me to go ahead with it as ive threatend it so often.

I wish you and the rest of the family well and hope that you can some how reconcile what appear to be huge differences.

I must be old fashioned....I think people should be accountable for all decisions they make, good or bad. Not feeling guilty if your decision had adversely impacted someone's life, is precisely why some people wander through life these days with a false sense of entitlement. (Nothing to do with the OP on this thread, BTW just in general).

Guilt is a non productive waste of time, energy and emotion. We are humans not robots

We are HUMAN. We make mistakes. Show me a perfect person and I will concede defeat.

Well done MM, I hope you soon feel the weight lifting from your shoulders and your life brightening.
Follow your instinct, your heart, not your head. Do the best you can, no one can ask for more. You are loved and supported by your family and friends. Life will be uncomfortable for a while, but happier I am sure. x

Right on. We do the best we can at that time in our life...thinking that is the best decision...at that time. Guilt is so destructive and crippling for all involved. Sadly it follows like a stray !

Of course guilt can be dsetructive but it dosnt stop you feeling it whatever the rights or wrongs
This decison has been one of the hardest ive ever made but i had to do it for my own sanity & for the future of my daughter as she was in a unhappy environment with 2 parents constantly arguing
Thats not right for any child & i wont feel guilty for that!

We all have our OWN lives. Why should he have to return to the UK and be miserable? As indeed MM should not have to stay in Oz.
Its his life. Its her life. No one should be 'made' to do ought in situations like this. He does what's right for him and ditto MM.
