Here's a sobering article on the risk of the Indian variant in the UK.

Need to get the vaccines moving more quickly if possible.

A human statue made of living stone
A paradox etched in human bone
If you could look behind his thin disguise
There's a hidden glint of madness in his eyes.
Many men are fooled by his smile
His superficial grace his charm his style
Sardonicus is everybody's friend
Sardonicus keeps smiling to the end.

I must say I think it is inevitable. Should firmly keep us in the red list for summer. Not helped by the fact that the people here don’t seem to care about it (see the people in the malls/ metro etc right now).

I'm sure we can all agree this is more important than anything else.

I saw on a FB post today that the Petition website managers have got so fed up with Middle East-based people setting up petitions that they're refusing to allow any new ones!

Oh good lordy no thanks, they're ****ing tragic.
I imagine 'British Dads Dubai' had a few? Saw their golf society recently at the club I was playing at and haven't ever wanted to be part of a golf society less.

So many tattoos on calves (mostly football clubs), so much shit chat about work and everything being tough and moaning about wives all overheard just waiting by the buggies.
I'd rather shit in my hands and clap than be part of that sort of crowd.

Thankfully, golf here is much more enjoyable because the average age of a member or player isn't 70+ like the UK. They're mostly 30-50 I'd say and my typical 4-ball is late 20s-mid 30s.
You must know the type, the 40-something yr old, father of two cracking shit jokes whilst drinking tins of amstel hidden in his golf bag all whilst claiming he supports United but is from somewhere horrid like Coventry - basically what I imagine that golf society to be like.
