Re: Living unmarried.
yep multi tasking..... as i said same sex only not living together unmarried or anything like that.... not allowed under sharia law, people do it, but severe consequences if found out for whatever reason, car accident, prob with maid, liquor licence, loads of reasons etc. some people have their maids husbands living with them, well thats not allowed technically. only family members allowed under sharia law. clear as mud now?
And would someone handing over a deposit in good faith ever see that deposit again if perchance they were fired in or caught out for 'inappropriate' living arrangements?

Even if the landlord says it's alright, we know it isn't.Correct? This is my point about your post-it's not down to what a landlord rules....

There isn't a smilie of Bobby Bacalieri sounding shocked, nothign even close.
Wow, imagine what woudl happen when one of the housemates finds out you are actually sleeping with someone else, breakign his heart, etc etc....
Avoid it at all costs, it leaves you open to so many risks. If you must do it, don't tell people about it.

Re: Living unmarried.
but as we know even if you dont do anything wrong you can be caught out. but many landlords rent out bed spaces and sharing accommodation etc or company provided labour camps. hence why we moved from one villa where a certain "new" supermarket chain put in 50 single men...... now with the landlords permission, even thou they pretended they didnt know anything about it when we complained but did that change the situation, no. but yes i wouldnt do it you need to get the correct paperwork to at least be half way there, what happens if you get ill, some companies will not allow you to live together also if you fall pregnant etc you and I know what will happen there.

Points noted, have blown it off! think Ive found a nice little pad that I can have all to myself
and in regards to most likely getting pregnant- I'm not one for bed hopping with housemates- causes far too much tension so I son't think getting a bun in the oven would have been an issue Candy ride!
How does it stand with having friends coming to visit and stay? My brotehr is gonna come out with my nephew- will they be able to stay? I know when I have come through passport control before I have had to show my hotel booking, will they be allowed to stay? And other male friends/female friends?
Thanks for all the advice

I have to agree with Candy Ride and Relaunch on this one Kitty. Don't put yourself in that situation. You'd be strong for awhile then one late night after a few drinks a Mazola Party breaks out and you wake up the next day you're wondering who the daddy is.

Check your Lease, the doorman might come under amenities, you know: parking, pool, gym, a safe shot at the doorman
Happy new house anyway.

male family members are fine to stay... as are same sex friends.
Glad you've got your accomm sorted... I think sharing with 3 guys would have drawn huge amounts of unwaranted attention and "People" would have thought of you in a far less than flattering light! Men have funny notions, after all!
