OK yeah run away from the question about your acceptance of slavery.
Go on, bore us with fantasies about the reform of English spelling instead.

Re: Lack of Clothes - again
Another day, another round of the usual 'ganging up' on the weakest link in your eyes. Your responses are weak and predictable, just like England's performance at Euro 2012 the other day...
OK then, you guys claim that there are other pressing issues such as the modern day slavery. Of course, conditions are less than favourable but everyone contributes towards it.
Have you boycotted the malls that you visit as they were built by slave labour? What about the hotels and bars, and maybe even closer to home, our homes themselves since they were likely to be built by indo-pak workers too on 500AED per month working in the 45-50 degree heat? I highly doubt it as you're probably too busy enjoying yourselves.
Claiming to be against slavery in all its forms is one thing, but acting upon and following it up with actions is another. This is a subtle form of hypocrisy.
If I remember correctly, many Premier League footballers also invested in the Palm Jumeirah with their slick marketing DVD and the developments were investigated by Panorama, they were seen to be endorsing the slave labour. Did they sell up? Probably not. On the contrary, they may well have bought even more...

If so, how do you combat this? Do you avoid malls? Do you live on the streets? Do you get in a taxi ever?

Dear Scampy, I wasn't the one who 'claimed' to be a beacon of human rights like others. I was asking the question if you hadn't realised either.
I also don't how this thread evolved into this.
Summary so far, improper clothing in malls, escorts giving a report of their activities, more improper clothing, religion vs atheism, and now slavery. What next?

Yes / No will suffice.

They're predictable because they are hegemonic. The majorities positon defines the dominant discourse, and you are not in the majority. That doesn't always mean the majority is right, but in this case, I think it's fair to say it is.

Scampy, if you have been reading my other posts, it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out would it and answer your question.
So I started a thread on the UAE, links with UAE papers, speaking about malls in the UAE...
Ok, I'll give you a clue, erm, U _ E. Fill in the blank

Wow...., this thread is beginning to look like a kung fu game, many pitted against one (poor old Bruce Lee), with lots of web site links flying every where, and no one (apart from, may be one and even vaguely) bothered to sit down and calmly write down a summary of his/her thoughts,.. expecting me to go through all those articles and news web sites and provide answers to every idea in them. The theme is the same, the articles spoke of people's practices and organized mafia groups which is not the subject in question, we are talking about institutionalized slavery, that is country legalizing or accepting slavery.
Some one, yet again, stepped into side topics of religions and expecting me to debate the subject of slavery and prisoners of wars in the old time which would bring into the discussion the Roman's and their favourite pass time game of 'Slaves versus hungry beasts' (watch Gladiator film if interested), while the topic of the thread is still "lack of clothes"!!!!
Don't expect me to stand up here and defend the actions of the Arab organized mafia of slavery/prostitution, any more than I expect you to defend the white slavery practices (as well as black) here in London, conducted by the Russian and east European mafias, whose main customers are, not Saudi rich men, but middle class gentlemen charged with sexual fantasies and with stacks of cash to spend. Reminds me of a story in the paper of a Nigerian teenager girl who was smuggled to London on promise to a descent job, realized that she has been conned, picked up the phone to her mum in Nigeria (who was one of the conspirers) and complained, her mother told her, "Its ok darling, better to be scr**** and get paid for it than to stay here and marry an ass**** who will do the same thing to you but without paying you and you still have to look after his kids". Europe is riddled with this kind of poor girls.
Alexa, I just don't understand what, this spelling fusses all the about, the English language spelling, any way is going to be changed soon, so don't hold on to it, the demand from the European union to overhaul the English language spelling is mounting. This is their condition to accept english as an official language of the union, so write-it-as-you-hear-it kind of approach will have to be adopted world wide. Cat, for example would be spelled as kat, etc. That should effectively advance the good cause of humanity as one would concentrate on the context of the word not the silly spelling part of the word, like some of you here are so much obsessed with.
And as for Seven seas, your post reminds me of the old English practice of the Dark Ages of witch hunting , that practice off course, is now history but, the spirit is by all means not, old habits die hard mate.....

We're mostly Brits and we don't endorse slavery, nor it is the Brits (at least in the vast majority of cases) who practice the modern version of slavery you are referring to in the UK, so what in earth has that got to do with anything? We all know our history and enslaving Africans and sending them across the world is not anything we are proud of but read up on William Wilberforce and you will see we were one of the first countries that stopped it. It's the past and not relevant to our behaviour here, today.
I think much of the issue with your language is that you are rather poor at expressing yourself. Half the time we're struggling to make sense of your syntax, spelling errors and incorrectly used words.
And a question for you. If you think Brits and Britain is so awful why are you living in Wales?
