This is true, and it is a fair point. However you referred to the 'stupid spell checker' earlier. If you indeed suffer from dyslexia may I suggest you make good use of it. This would be better for everyone. Thank you.

Oh.. no I am not dyslexic (watch out I got a sharp wit), I am talking in general because the guys are avoiding a constructive debate and confusing the issue by commenting on spelling. I have a good argument to put up about english competency but it requires audience with intellectual substance

Albert Einstein's nephew used to be my boss. He lives in Dubai.

True.

How did a discussion about skirt length in the UAE end up with somebody posting a YouTube video of an ignorant racist in the UK. You could probably find a video supporting bestiality on YouTube. Or another promoting farting cows as the answer to our energy needs. What does it prove?

So why did you write what you did and by doing so imply that you were?

Ah yes and, of course, we're all thick. But I suppose one thing in our favour is that we can spell.

...so when lullabelle wrote her initial long post, it wasn't a problem but when I responded with an equally long post, I was reminded of breaking the forum's three line rules.

Double standards and when I respond, without insulting posters, people than play the irrational/ logic cards . Folks, you are the ones with an agenda to and one more thing, especially to the gents to reflect about.

Approximately 80% of the internet traffic is of a pornographic nature and this is a well known fact. If the gents see nothing wrong with viewing this, then I am really banging my head against a brick wall talking about modest attire.

My sample or basis for saying this? Having worked in many places over they years, most lads of all ages seem to believe that it's nothing wrong with it and it's the norm to view it passed around, spoken about and alluded to in meetings on the sly too. Of course, the feminists will say that it's th viewers and the women's choice and freedom to do so. The reality is that it is damaging and changing our perceptions of women from people of all religions and cultures, including this place.

Point being, if you watch all that kind of stuff implicity or explicitly, through films, lads mags or nude 'art', then the whole uae dress issue will be seen to be way over the top as your standards of modesty are different. I have given a different side to the argument and have said what is needed from another perspective.

Don't be a nut mate - my comment was aimed at everyone (hence I didn't quote anyone). There isn't a rule anyway.

So you are saying that people with "your point of view" do not watch porn? Now that is one of the best jokes I have heard in all my time in the ME...rofl!

We are all sexual beings. Our parents were sexual beings. Men will chase women and vice versa and we will all have thoughts about eachother; covering every square inch in some absurb quest to stop that is swimming against the tide of human nature....

You have made your point and stuck to it resolutely but have found very few people in agreement with you, if any. Most of the people on this site are family people like you - do you honestly think we conform to the crass cliches and stereotypes you litter your posts with? If so, perhaps you should open your mind a little.

and

Precisely my point, it's abnormal now when somebody doesn't drink, take part in debauchery type activities and doesn't want to read a paper called the Sun as mentioned by another poster who said he wanted to know my idea of 'fun'

You have your way, I'll happily have mine...

No it is not "abnormal". There are people EVERYWHERE who do not participate in above mentioned activities. And yes, that does includes WESTERN people . BUT, to say that people with "your point of view" (although I'd like to call it mindset) generally do not participate in above mentioned activities, is a joke. As simple as that.
And do not twist my words...I've had better people than you try that and fail.
