Last week i visited the new Shangri la hotel in AD, its quite near the airport and is stunning with a few nice restaurants

Been there twice now, both times the food ok but the service dreadful and they have copied Emirates Palace way to much. Bit of a let down really.
The staff even wear the same uniforms as emirates palace

woof, thats me shot down in flames,

I only had a coffee there and thought it was nice.

The pool looked good also and the plans for the next phase looked good to me.

I dont care if the waiters looked like manuel out of faulty towers, i thought it was ok

Edit, how long has it been opened?

Shoot u down? Wow even withour aiming, Wasnt my intention, just giving my opinion on my experiences there

Agreed Pool is gorgeous and the hotel is nice but it is the same as emirates palace, and dont understand why they would want to copy them.

Its been open a few months now.
