Re: Job in Abu Dhabi Investment Authority
Hi Everyone!
I have been contacted by a recruiter for about a week ago for a job posting in ADIA.
I was interested with the post so I gave my cv.
Till today, I have yet to receive a feedback.
My question is, what is the normal turnaround before ADIA gives the go signal to the recruiter to progress with one's application?
Thanks!

I'm actually from Canada, nearing the end of the recruitment process.
For those are considering or might have questions, here's what I learned:
- they start with a few (I did 4) VC interviews; some general and some technical
- after you pass them all, they send you to New York for the psych assessment, it was about 7 hours long. 1 hour interview, math test, English test, Ravens test, 2 business scenarios
Prior to this though, you have to complete a 300 question survey (mandatory)
- after that, they send you to Abu Dhabi for face to face interviews (they send both my wife and I, business class, about 5 days long, accommodation and food included)
Like others have said, the hardest part about the psych test is the time limit, you find that you will not have time to recheck your answers
PS - I'm applying for a role in IT
I will post back when I return from the face to face interviews

Hi Walterthetraveler123,
What position you applied for? Are you done with tests and interviews?
Somebody posted salary for P3 (google it) so I assume P4 will be 15-20% higher to that.

I did my KF assessment in mid-March, had a review of the results about 10 days later and then had another interview with a pretty senior level guy at ADIA a couple days after that. It's been a couple weeks since then and I've heard nothing. I know patience is key with this process but this two weeks of silence has me a bit anxious.

Role in middle office.
It was good experience but verbal reasoning did not have enough time in my opinion. Role-play exercises were okay, but you never know what exactly they are looking for and might ding you for not presenting your case in the way they want.
Hoping to hear back soon from them about next steps. Let's see.
