Fortunately not my house, rather the next door neighbours. They've been frozen in that position since early December!

The snow blowing is happening in my back garden to remove the snow drifts that allowed the dog to step (not leap) over the fence. It's useful having a buddy with a tractor!

Three hours.

The 28cm wasn't too bad. The little present from the City was.

I helped out three of my neighbours, which is why it look so long.

Blizzard still going strong here. 13 hours since I woke and I don't know how long before that it started. Side and front windows completely blanked out.

City plow passed at least twice and I didn't hear it either time.

Supposed to get mother in law to a physio appointment for her ankle in the morning. Hopefully our 'Mr Plow' will be around before then but that may not be enough.

I like CBC radio but they are so often unreliable when it comes to weather. Perhaps just speaking about too broad an area? Fortunately for us in Moncton it's in a good way in that they'll say 20cm is due and The Weather Network site says 10cm and TWN is much closer to what actually falls.

This morning they said Fredericton got 40cm but that some places just outside got 70. The best they were able to announce for here was 40-60cm.

But it's hard to tell when it's blowing snow or blizzard like yesterday's marathon.

Just before our plowman called last night, I did our steps and at the bottom what was on the drive next to me was thigh deep but further up there was a patch of driveway with no snow on it where it had blown to other bits.

Had he not cleared the city plow wall last night, the additional overnight city plowing would have made it the biggest wall we ever had, beating the one two years ago that was from two successive storms, not one.

Here's hoping everyone out in the Maritimes stays safe. Here's also hoping that they don't get hit with a sudden Spring thaw this year, to make things even more challenging.

Don't know if you 'do' Facebook, but the Blizzard Watch community pages are very good. https://www.facebook.com/NewBrunswickBlizzard/

10C today, windows can finally be open without freezing..lol

Snow is melting at a pretty quick rate.

I can't imagine getting 60+cm in a 24 hour period, it was bad enough getting 80cm+ over 3 days.

Hope they get the roads cleared and things back to normal back east for you quickly.
