I'm afraid I agree with you entirely. I still watch Question time from the UK each week. It annoys the hell out of me but Canadian politics are so dull that I can't find the same motivation to take an interest. I suppose I will always live vicariously with the UK political arena to some point or another, if only because it is so much more intense.

Is there any way we can watch the election unfold here in Canada on our normal tv programs? Like maybe BBC Canada?

Put a link to the poll in the UKIP thread in TIO and you may get a few more 'voters' from all parties

I'm not eligible so burnt one on the Plaid Subaru (assuming that means whatever coalition).

It's Plaid Cymru which is the national party of Wales.
However it's only the Welsh that know how to pronounce it so sometimes the name gets bastardised.

Their current leader, a lass, has a lovely accent, and pronounces it: "plied cumree" or something like that.

More intense, more humorous and more interesting. Agree. I even prefer US politics to Canadian.

Don't know about watching it unfold but CBC radio features it regularly on its news. I suppose CBC TV does something similar.

I thought I'd said not already but that must have been in another thread.

It doesn't seem right for me to do so. The only UK matter of any relevance to me would be my pension (when it comes) and the (non) uprating issue.

Of course, it doesn't seem right I can't vote here without going down the citizenship road. Not that I'd want to give the politicians here any sense of respectability.

Has our vote ended? Is the poll we have the final result for BE? In which case - WOW! We're obviously not representative of the UK population!

Are we wrong or them? Mind you, we're the one's who left which, by inference, would suggest we at least think they're wrong.

We do seem to be a little 'right' on here...

I predict that the Conservatives will come out with the most seats, which will unfortunately be undermined by an attempted Labour/SNP coalition, whilst the Conservatives try to defeat them with a coalition with UKIP.

The LibDems won't win enough seats to make any difference whatsoever and their front bench will all lose their seats unless they are in Cornwall or the South Lakes. Tim Farron will probable become their new leader.

The pound will drop about 5-10% against most currencies on Friday.

The Conservatives will attempt to form a minority Government.

The Unions will sack Ed Miliband at the the TUC's branch conference known as the Labour Party Conference and replace him with the other hypocritical millionaire Ed Ballsup, with his wife Yvette Millionaire Cooper as deputy.

There will be another General Election at the end of the summer unless that is no longer allowed.

Exit poll at 10pm predicting Conservatives at 316 seats. Michael Gove very bullish on. Conservative government.
