I aim to please! As an aside, I think Ms Abbott does an absolutely, fabulously stellar job for dear Jeremy and the Labour Party. Perhaps we should leave her alone and allow her to do what she does best... :), :)

If the ruling bunch had a bit more competence, I would agree. But Britain does desperately need an opposition.

Diane Abbot has today suggested New Bank Holiday dates if Labour win the election
30th Feb
63rd of April
72nd of May
And 45th of August

I was expecting the exchange rate to do something after these elections. No movement by the look of things.

I think there so much going on right now that the market simply can't decide on a direction. Not just the UK election, but the French election, for example, will have an impact on the EU and Brexit. Once some new certainties drift in, the exchange rate may have more direction and/or volatility.

just contextualizing dear boy. I'm not saying some opinions and reasons for voting a certain way aren't misguided. However the Rotheram example is a perfect one for illustrating why there is a swell of anti-establishment, and protectionist feeling amongst the working/lower classes. If you can't make the link I would suggest that you might be a little out of touch. This and examples like it (Polish nicked my job etc etc) are all causing a massive shift to right and sometimes far right politics. we ignore it at our peril
