Add it to the list, already got public hanging, guilloteen, re-conquer commonwealth, reclaim USA, rations, power cuts, strikes, shortages, high prices, less choice and poorer services. Ah maybe add destruction of the NHS or sell off to private sector and insurance companes too..

Blair Speaks.

General election 2017: Tony Blair says Brexit stance more important than party - BBC News

'Tony Blair has urged voters not to elect MPs who "back Brexit at any cost", whichever party they are from. '

The man is tainted, should go away and keep quiet. This was a man whose MP cadre followed him like sheep as he dragged a reluctant country to war based on lies, so he knows from experience that MP's are far from independant. His MPs were so slavish that when I questioned mine she baaahhed back to me with copies of Blair's speeches. The man is a hypocrite at best.

So he took an action that was based on lies....

Quite like the Brexit vote was based on lies. That seems to be a rather relevant experience don't you think? ;)

Hmmm possibly.. A little like Mugabe advising Putin how to hold an election... he's really doesn't need or want the advice.

With the slight difference of a 'good faith' defence and the appearance of having learned from it rather than carrying on regardless.

Have we forgotten the man, what he did and how he behaved?
I'm not sure that 'good faith' describes any of the man's qualities.
He's haunted by guilt and what will be written on his epitaph.
He has nothing to contribute to this election.

As an ex prime minister, despite getting the war wrong, he has something to contribute. Not alone, but as a chorus of experienced voices that aim to guide the country. He's far more informed and communicative on Europe than Jezza.

Listen to what Blair says, then do the opposite. There's no going back on Brexit now, not without some gargantuan snivelling, and doing exactly what Merkel says when she says it. Get over it Tony it happened, I'm sure your fortune will survive.

Nope. He was afflicted with the same kind of arrogance that Thatcher was. On the plus side, there were some. And they benefited ordinary folk not just those buying favours.

Probably not. Nothing to do with Merkel or the EU however, it's the public mood no more no less. However, there are risks, especially with the way demented Theresa is pushing the hardest of hard Brexits.

I still think she's only playing at being all for Brexit, she had to to get into power. She would have loved parliament to vote remain, but they didn't. Hard Brexit it will be I think whether we want it or not, and that IS down to Merkel and the EU, they want rid of Britain now, they were excluding them from meetings soon after the referendum. In fact I seem to remember Britain being compared to a gangrenous leg that needed amputating.
