The government. Democratic reform is within their remit.

So the Government should choose who is eligible to vote based on competency.

Now excuse me while I fall off my chair laughing my ass off. You do realize you are suggesting that the Government is competent to decide who is competent to vote.

People who dis the government would receive an automatic exclusion. That goes without saying.

You have to start somewhere. The irony would be if the said political party made this a manifesto pledge, electoral success would imply that the "incompetents" accept their impending fate.

Assuming all those you would deem ineligible lack the self-awareness not to have voted for the other guys. Unless voting for this pledge is some sort of self-selection process for those who should be denied a role in a democracy? After all presumably you'd vote for it?

It's surprising what people will vote for. Look at the Obamacare dependents that vote for Trump.

Do you realise why there are issues regarding Obamacare?

If so, what would you do to resolve those issues?

Let every citizen vote as it is now, but give everyone a stringent citizenship test to qualify as a citizen. Anyone failing the test could get citizenship by serving in the military. Any non'citizens can be euthanised at 35 years old, and once a year the new sub class could compete in televised 'to the death' games for one up for grabs citizenship. I have an idea for a book

Bring on the 'Carousel' ("Logan's Run") but can we up the age a bit, I'm well past 30, and don't feel like checking out quite yet.

He isn't diplomatic that's for sure.

"The president also allegedly told the prime minister he had talked to Russian President Vladimir Putin and three other world leaders that day, and that “this was the worst call by far.”"

Trump also apparently told Mexican president he would send the US military into Mexico to deal with bad hombres if Mexico doesn't deal with them.

He's like America's answer to Prince Philip. Turnbull is a twat of the highest order, about time someone told him so.

2 Republican senators have come out and said they will not vote for Betsy DeVos, Trump's pick for Education Secretary.

Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.

Appears at this point she will be confirmed still.
