I remember Katie Hopkins from the apprentice and then for some reason she kept popping up on things...an absolutely odious, vile woman. why do these people get airtime?

How fast can this man unravel everything...he's taking steps to remove the safety nets that hold the banks to some sort of integrity....Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae part 2 loom into view and we haven't recovered from part 1 yet.

It's interesting how much damage can be done so quickly, something to think about when considering novelty candidates in Canada (or the UK, should there be one).

Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser to Donald Trump, has come in for criticism and ridicule after blaming two Iraqi refugees for a massacre that never happened. "...two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalised and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre. Most people don’t know that because it didn’t get covered.”

It didn’t get covered, many are now pointing out, because there was no such massacre.
She now says she made an honest mistake and had meant to say “Bowling Green terrorists”, referring to two Iraqi citizens.

Ah right, that's fair enough. We all make mistakes.

Except that four days earlier she made the same 'mistake' when she said “Two Iraqi nationals came to this country, joined Isis, traveled back to the Middle East to get trained and refine their terrorism skills, and come back here, and were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre of taking innocent soldiers’ lives away.”

And then she made the same 'mistake again saying “There were two Iraqis who came here, got radicalized, joined Isis, and then were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green attack on our brave soldiers.”

I'm probably on safe grounds in wondering if she's a liar or just incompetent. Either way, not fit for office.

So she's a good fit for Trump then.

She will say whatever as long as she is getting paid...here is a clip of her when she was employed by the Ted Cruz campaign team. Skip to the 2 minute mark and watch her lay into Trump

I feel a bit sorry for Trump’s public relations team these days. He seems confused, scared and rambling, his comments about the press are simply wrong. His support people have to try to find a way to make believe it’s all true. Knowing that he lied, straight faced, they look for a reason for the public to believe.

Why would you feel sorry for people (The Press Sec, Kelly-Anne Conway etc) who very obviously either have no soul or sold it some time ago? Actually my contempt is less for them and more for the Republican establishment (Ryan et al) who clearly believe that being in power, albeit being led by a madman is more important than having someone fit for the office as Pres. The laugh on them is of course than Bannon, who is calling the shots, wants to destroy the conventional establishment that they represent.

Because, they're in the business of spinning, they would expect to distort and conceal but they wouldn't have expected to have to deal with such nonsense as Trump is now offering. Going on with defending him is above and beyond.

Agree with you about Ryan et al, total shits, completely without honour. The public relations people are hapless and greedy but they never pretended to be respectable, the establishment did.

I was astonished to learn today that there were terrorist attacks in Paris, Nice, Berlin and other incidents.

How could we not have known about this? It's an outrage.

Everybody knows. If they want to make him tell the truth they're going to have to cut off a little piece of his skin, about 1/2" square, every time he tells a lie.
