Weird. Easy to check that his claim is completely false. Is he pandering to anti-vaxxers? Why would Trudeau spread such blatant misinformation?

The Prime Minister has said that the fall in Covid-19 cases is not due to the vaccine roll-out programme but it is mainly down to the country’s national lockdown... ...Mr Johnson said that, although the numbers of infections, hospital admissions and deaths are down, the reduction “has not been achieved by the vaccination programme†but rather the lockdown. .....Speaking to reporters in Downing Street, he added that “As we unlock, the result will inevitably be that we will see more infection, sadly we will see more hospitalisation and deaths."

Perhaps you don't look at look at the right media sources but warnings of a third wave have been reported all over the UK media.

He said it during a Parliamentary debate 2 or 3 days ago... you can search online for the details - all debates are listed in detail if you care to look..

I'm just pointing out he said what has been reported in the UK media an example was given earlier.
Here's the times. - Easing lockdown rules ‘likely to cause Covid third wave’
ITV news - Covid: UK at 'significant risk' of third wave this summer, top scientist warns
Yorkshire Live - Dr Hilary issues warning over third wave on Good Morning Britain
Mirror - Third Covid wave in UK could see another 50,000 die despite vaccines, scientist warns
There's a nice variety for you. Different media sources and all different reports of what different people have been saying.

So Trudeau's just saying what's been reported in t he UK media about a UK issue.
Move along, nothing to see here.

This isn’t complicated:
1. Trudeau is criticized on vaccine rollout.
2. His response is that it does not matter, you still have to maintain protective measures and the country could still face a threat of another wave.
3. He picks on Britain as a proof.
I am thinking the nonsensical and counterfactual attempt to deflect should be obvious. Regardless of potential threats, Britain’s rollout has been efficient and it helped. His deflection is BS. Targeting a friendly government is unhelpful; unless we need more enemies right now. Its also harmful for a leader to give messages that vaccinations don’t matter, given the spread of the anti-vaxxers in Canada.
Nu?

“Vaccinations on their own are not enough to keep us safe.â€
“More contagious and dangerous variants are spreading and threatening the progress we’ve made,â€
It's all been said by plenty of people in the know and it's all been reported.
Where I agree with you is that this is not complicated and that's probably why so many without an axe to grind agree.

We are not going anywhere. If its not obvious that saying “Britain vaccinated but look, it faces risks†isn’t appropriate when you are asked about vaccine rollout problems in Canada, when we are under a lockdown and desperately short of nurses then I won’t be able to explain.

We agree again.
A man repeats what has been reported all over the UK media as having been said by numerous experts and you incorrectly describe it as lying.
At least now you've challenged on it you have moved from saying he's lying to saying something you think is inappropriate.

Yes, we also agree that the British newspapers which used to sing praises to Trudeau all of a sudden have “an axe to grindâ€. Makes total sense.

And to be clear, Trudeau lied about a very serious issue when he said “UK is facing a third waveâ€. There is a hypothetical risk, yes. Not the same thing.
What he said was a blatant lie as well as a ludicrous attempt to deflect when asked why the vaccine rollout in Canada has been poor.
Lying about other countries is very much trumpian style. We are supposed to be better. Thankfully the Brits laughed it off.

The UK is at “significant risk†of a third wave this summer as restrictions begin to ease, an expert advising the government has warned.
Professor of epidemiology John Edmunds, who is a member of the government’s scientific advisory group, Sage, has said cases are “inevitable†with half of the population unvaccinated.
“We are lifting the brakes a little earlier… if you kept brakes on until we are all vaccinated that would be the safest way to do it,†he told ITV’s Peston show, while adding it will take a very long time to fully vaccinate everyone.
“If we ease restrictions, then cases will occur. It's sort of inevitable really, they will occur in the younger half of the population and that will expose the older half.â€

Perhaps its a language issue. When I read “UK faces third wave†and look at numbers, I see a blatant lie.
When I read “Canada faces third waveâ€, I see fact. Trudeau may have confused UK and Canada. Its nonsensical to respond “UK†when you are asked about vaccination rollout in Canada. So not a lie. Geographic misunderstanding. Can happen to anyone.

Canada

UK
