Talkofthetyne is organizing a protest march starting at kickoff time on Saturday.

http://www.gopetition.co.uk/online/21764.html

There's only a few hundred signed up so far, but it's only Thursday.

Well, they are suggesting that Mike Ashley retire.

Latest: Ashley puts the Toon up for sale.

"You want me out", says he to the fans. Well, doh!

It's just about 50 years since my dad first took me to stand in the Leazes End, but I've never been so, what?, embarrassed? by the club in all that time. Win or lose.

Nouveau riche Russians need not apply.

Joe Kinnear gets the top job then.
Would do a good job but unfortunately he will be gone as soon as Ashley sells

Nice esult for Pompey today. 2-0 against Spurts.

My dictionary defines spurt as a drip under pressure.

Nice win for Newcastle last night against West Brom. 15th in the league for a few hours more courtesy of a 2-1 win.

This is a brilliant spoof of that pr*ck Danny Dyer's "Football Factories"

"One of the top 5 teams in Yorkshire.... Sunderland."

"Sunderland... famous for Newcastle, Alan Shearer, Jimmy Nail and Bergerac."

He's got Dyer's "tough-guy" mannerisms perfectly, and the walk is just hilarious!

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I'm at a considerable disadvantage here since I've no idea who or what Danny Dyer is. I actually care so little that for once google will be a friend spurned.

Since this thread apparently refuses to die, let me take the opportunity to point out the the natural order of the universe has been re-established after last night's result. The Toon are up above the mackems again, where they belong.

Good decision, I wouldn't recommend wasting a moment of your life trying to find out about this fourth-rate gangster wannabe.

But if you have already had the enormous misfortune to catch his Real Football Factories TV programme about football hooligans, this is is a great parody.
