i've a feeling it will go on and on, very tight for obvious reasons with one moment of brilliance, probably a 20yd volley from GERRARD to settle it around 85 mins.
For future reference go to www.channelsurfing.net on the day of the game and there should be an online feed of the game you want to watch. I watched it on ESPN Star Sports out of Asia and managed to avoid Tommy 'bulge in the old onion bag' Smyth's awful commentary. My heart goes out to Wenger...not.

Well, for a neutral, that was a lot of fun.

Classic really.

I must say I was very impressed by Walcott's run to make the second Arsenal goal, but props to Pool for not folding after that.

Pity about Chelsea.

Oh yes. And very attractively too, <without taking anything away from the Arsenal's performance>. It was a very good match.

Gerrard didn't score from 20 yards out, in fact he had little influence on the match at all. He did however convincingly bury the dodgiest penalty in the history of football at 'around 85 minutes' and it did 'settle it' for the pool.

Gutted. Disgusted, and gutted.

Liverpool and dodgy decisions in their favour, seems it follows them into Europe too

At the 606 on BBC.co.uk even the bloody Utd. supporters are unhappy about it. A lot of them there are talking about the Kop end's influence on the decision, but there's no Kop at the Emirates and we got shafted there too.

Fantastic match to watch, I danced for Theo, but would have been better with a more forgiving ref and ITV commentators who don't have liverbird idols over their beds.

As an Arsenal fan I agree it was a massively dodgy penalty, but the games over now and even if UEFA could/would look at the decision retrospectively it isn't going to change the result.

And there was I happy at 2-2 as it mean't we were going through unless Liverpool scored. It just means that I'll be cheering on Liverpool in the CL as they are taking the spot we would have. Who'd have thought another Liverpool-Chavski semi-final again?

I agree and find it totally disgusting,Kenyon and others like him have grand plans for the game which do not involve traditional working class fans.i'll carry on supporting them from afar and leave the politics to others.
On a brighter note looks like Fergie will be without Vidic and ferdinand tonight and on sunday.Happy days.

nope latest is that ferdinand will be on the bench with neville, don't be suprised if vidic is there too. starting with the wobbly pique and brown. still 2-0 up should do it, but not without the ususal wobble we seem to encounter at this time each year no doubt.
was not far off, in that gerrard knocked one in at the end, but my how wrong was i for the score. gutted i could not watch it as its sounds a classic from what i have read. shame about a dodgy decision spoiling what appears to have been an otherwise fantastic game.
on the tv note from post above, my norton security threw a fit, it has taken 2 hrs to fix, i have to bin the entire thing and get another firwewall from shaw, for anyone else be warned, this site may have problems for some.
