yep seems to be struggling in the team though. its very guarded what goes on at utd, very little leaked, but from what i can gather he is not adapted to the 'fergie' regime well, late for training etc, thats why even though he is performing he is not being picked to start all the time, that and i suppose conflict of position with scholesy and carrick. we'll see what happens, he had to be a natural replacement for scholes, who i am glad to see get his 100 up, but is fast approaching his sell by date. mind you i said that about giggsy 2yrs ago.
I have a feeling that if Man U win the premiership and the Champions League that Scholes/Giggs/Gary 'I speak in the 3rd person' Neville will either retire or substantially cut back on their playing time next year.
In interviews, Hargreaves comes across as reasonably intelligent (and a certifiable Mensa candidate amongst footballers) with the added bonus of having 3 accents (Canadian, north of england general accent and german) and he can actually speak german. I have a feeling that he is so driven and wanted to come to Man U so much, that he won't screw up anymore in front of the gum chewing boss.

i like hargreaves and find it a little hard to believe he is a screw up or uncaring in training, wonder if its just a personality clash. if so he better wind his neck in or he'll be gone like so many before him, no matter what the transfer fee, how long he had been at utd or how much he wants to be there. rightly or wrongly thats the way it is under ferguson.

can't see giggsy going unless pushed, sholes maybe so. imagine giggs will go to coaching role with wales. scholes into the academy. robson recently took up an ambassador role so thats taken.

Ferguson to me is a bully and like it or not he has been the continuity for much of their success since 1986. His defense of Roy Keane through the incidents with the Man City player who injured him etc, was awful in my mind.

as for keano, well had dealings with him too. i know, but i worked around south manchester so met lots of the players over the years for one thing or another. keane had bomb threats after this incident. could not have been more obnoxious when i was at his home if he tried. also split up a fight between him and a builder in the middle of the day, almost on the bonnet of my car as i was parked up having a brew. again, very sullen like a little kid when i tried just to sort it out and send them both packing. went down a lot in my estimation over the years.

as much as I want it to be true......not quite as confident as you......with Chelski winning last night and our away match at Blackburn tomorrow its not extreme to believe that we could finish the match against Chelsea a point behind with two games to go..............I would then become a big Kevin Keegan fan for their game against Chelski..............
............my cup is half empty..............until the froth is seen to come over the top...........
Last years results Wigan Away Won, Chelsea Away Drew, West Ham Home Lost, Blackburn Away won.................a repeat of those would give us the title.............

All converts to the church of King Kevin are most welcome. You may be sure that Toon will try their very best to help Manchester to the title by laying a thrashing on Chelshite. Yer average Geordie hates them even more than Mancunians (but less of course than mackems). Bon chance.

1-1 close, very worried. got to take my hat off to blackburn and players like friedal, samba and pederson, they were fantastic. should have been a penalty at the death for the handball on the corner, but no complaints, we needed at least a point and now its in our hands, only we can win or lose it next week. utd utd utd.

For now though, a reassertion of regional superiority was most welcome.

oohhh, 0-0. ronaldo misses penalty, good grief. all set for the return next week then, no predictions this time, too close just hope deco and messi still are not fit and bloody henri falls on something sharp, was not happy to see him come on at all. scholes magnificent, giggsy wasted should have come on for park at half way.
