Now all we need is for ex-Geordie superfrog Laurent Robert to stick a couple of trade mark rockets past the DC United goalie this afternoon for TOrONto FC and my day will be a happy one indeed.

As to Chel$hite, pity it wasn't 5-1.

it does not get much better than this, ARSEnal out of it, and liverpool likely to go 5th.

Arsenal 1-1
(HT 0-1) Liverpool
Bendtner 54
Crouch 42

Bookings:
Eboue 67
Bookings:
Riise 30
Pennant 54

Unless its this, City stutter and slip further.

Man City 0-2
(HT 0-1) Chelsea
Dunne o.g. 6
Kalou 53

Bookings:
Gelson 45

Harsh words... though sadly I reckon you're right. Gooners faltering in the final straight and united never fail to stick it out to the end. All too familiar.

i just wonder why lippi is holding out, after the world cup you'd think he want to stay but no, juve turned down and now he appears to have drifted off the scene altogether. there is going to be a change i'd have serious money on that, and it will be international, not english, so if not lippi who else?, scolari?
