I'm saying nowt until the deadline is passed. Right now I'm not too unhappy but I will be if they don't bring in someone half decent. If its Carroll for Elmander and about 30m quid with a commitment to invest it in players over the summer, I won't be suicidal.

If Carroll was worth 35 surely they can have Crouch 25 mill?

And ........ breathe.

Unless the grauniad missed something we've got nothing back for
Carroll.

Ah, well. I'm reasonably confident that we can avoid relegation, which after all is job one this season (actually job two; getting at least 4 out of 6 points against the reed and white stripey bastards was job one and that's already done).

With a bit of luck Carroll's thigh injury will be career ending.

Interesting transfer window.

I will liken Carroll's move to Liverpool to when Stan Collymore joined them. The beginning of the end of his career.

Chelsea signed two world class players- not much else to write home about in the Premier League.

Thank goodness Spurs missed out on yet another midfielder. I actually need Charlie Adam to stay at Blackpool and play as I've just cashed in my transfer window wild card in the fantasy football after picking up 4 injuries in the FA Cup.

For 35 million I would've given Newcastle Crouch, Pav and Keano!

No, I don't think so. The lad's got talent Brian. He'll go far.
