Should Santa leave presents at the end of the bed or just leave the presents under the tree when he visits?
When I was growing up Santa left presents in my bedroom. The US tradition seems to be just to leave them under the tree.

Ours were always beside our bed or hanging off the end, as kids, then a couple of presents under the tree from parents / siblings.

Now I hang the stockings on the doorknoba, lol. (it's hard to sneak in without waking people!)

Ours were always in our parents bedroom but with stockings left in our bedroom filled with stuff to keep us occupied until a more reasonable time...like 6.30am

Eee Bahh Gummm, when Ah wos a lad, we's tu poor fer nu stuff. Ah got me old clothz rapped up in a cale sak and ung on the clothz lyn fer christmass moenrin. Ad tu go owt nakid to fech em in and then lyte the fire wiv the sak. Them dayz wos good,

In our house he left them in the front room. Aka the best end, the front parlour. What poncey southerners would call the leeownge.
