Steve ducks and runs.:p:rofl::rofl::rofl:

No need to duck. I'm sure the runs would take care of themselves.

You would have to duck for a modern low slung loo.

Yes, it does, thanks. One of my sisters (who's into this sort of stuff) would especially like that.

Sorry there weren't as many shots as I had thought. I think that these houses are the gardeners houses. Some of those daffs may have been planted by your GGF.

Err, I'd forgotten about this thread (and, for the interested reader, about the horrors of Tim Horton's and his evil mustardy thing). But it may be that you forgot to actually post the photos you mentioned?

Why do you say that? They're good. I'll send them to one or other sister, they've both been to our great grandad's house at the Castle, but they couldn't go inside because it undergoing internal transformation into part of the teacher's college. That was about 5 years IIRC. I can't remember the last time I was in Alnwick, but a least 30 years ago.

To be honest, I don't know. I've not been there myself, as I said, for many a decade and I didn't know at the time the historical detail.

I think BE could probably survive a photo of a fence and a parking lot, though (if you're feeling frisky).

You can specify without mustard. I recommend McDonalds for coffee next time.
